Shift is only for pre-Gen VI when I want to level a pokemon and need to switch out every fight for xp gain. Exp Share makes it kinda unnecesary.

Fast. Less work to keep pressing A constantly to scroll the text more faster, I like to talk to all the NPCs and check everything, though.

I always keep it ON for the in-game, in the post-game with all the grind and extremely long chains of battles in the Battle Maison, I generally keep it OFF. I still appreciate it in the PvP/Competitive, it makes the thing more visually appealing (besides, in PvP it's automatically ON, so you don't need to switch the option everytime).

ON all the time, when I'm breeding the music can get annoying sometimes, so in this case I mute it and open some remixes albums of game music in my PC or Cellphone.

I'm pretty divided in this one, sometimes I feel like playing in Set, but it makes a lot more hard to train a recent catch in your team, mainly in older games before Gen 5 (where you can train with Audinos) and Gen 6 (Exp Share).
