The Whimsicott thing is because the actual plush came from a Pokémon Center promo that was about Whimsicott using Substitute.
Don't expect to get the legit one for cheap as it's been 'out-of-print' for quite a few years (and the rerelease they did do sold out in days apparently)

The fake ones are a darker shade of green and are more saggy, but only true autists will notice and care. Buy it if you want, or expect to whip out a decently fat wad for a real one and weep because you didn't get one when they were reproduced last year.
