Learn how to counter cancel, as a Machamp main I am learning to hit the pretty consitantly. You should always counter when you get shot at because it's not a commitment. You can absorb the damage and dash cancel out (Direction + R during counter) and act almost immediately. This also allows you to beat out counters that would beat yours via charge as you can cancel into a grab before they're done.

Fighting spammers is more of a frustrating and unfun endeavor rather than difficult once you know what you're doing.
Like, I'll fight and beat spammers in fighting games, but usually won't give them a rematch since breaking through the wall isn't an enjoyable fight for me.
