There have been a lot of "Living ooze" type creatures in fiction over the years. The Blob, The T-1000, Symbiotes from Spider-Man, just to name a few, and they've been a staple of monsters in video games and pen-and-paper rpgs in both Japan and the West. People are pretty familiar with the concept by now.
"Living Garbage Monster" just doesn't have the same appeal.

The wallet/purse mimic and old man next to it are reminiscent of Dragon Quest.
The goblin thing with the pompadour would be pretty good with different colors and a much smaller, less phalic pompadour.
The tengu with the book is ok. The one next to it could be a tutorial character for a video game, or a side character in a manga or anime.
