The Target in my town had the event being run by an official Nintendo Supplier Representative. They had set up a long table with tons of posters and hats and stuff on it for anyone (kids mainly) to take. They had set up the Charizard EX boxes and the Mew and Celebi Mythic Collections up on a separate stand and had people line up to get stuff from the stand. The line was really long and I got there right on time, because by the time it was my turn there were only 2 Charizard boxes left. I grabbed one. I already had got the Mew and Celebi stuff when they first came out so I didn't grab anymore since the line was still long. Got the magikarp promo as well.

With the pokemons you want to run there isn't much more to do aside from fine tuning. If you were to change the pokemon without adding new ones, I would try to get rid of one evolutionary line to make the other two more consistent and reliable.
I played a bit with Gallade, and Gengar synergizes well with it, not only half the time you will be able to ignore the confusion from haunter with evolution/center lady, but gengar can finish off anyone that was damaged by Gallade(don't know about Mega though).
Meowstic and Espeon EX were performing way lower than what I expected, but maybe you should try it yourself first.

Gengar EX works well with Gengar, but is not very strong on his own on my opinion(not counting Mega, since I never tried it out), and there is ToxicroakEX, that can put a 3 damage poison for a single DCE.

Copag managed to get rights to produce pokemon cards here in brazil a couple years ago, reducing the costs of the cards drastically(an english imported theme deck sells for around R$60~70, while a national one is sold for R$30; english boosters(10 cards each) costs around R$20, while national ones costs around R$6.50~7(5 cards each)).
And since copag was already everywhere, now you can find pokemon cards being sold everywhere(along with other products like Marvel Battle Scenes and Disney stuff).
Copag is making cards with pretty good quality at reasonable prices. What I was praising it for was that if you want Generations packs, the price per card/rare here is cheaper than in USA, mostly because our packs doesn't come with the pokemon pin.

By pin, I meant the bottom with the pokemon shape. The 5 card packs comes with 3 commons, 1 uncommon, and a 50/50 chance of uncommon/rare+.
Considering that you can buy around 3 national packs for the price of a international one, you get 9 commons, 4.5 uncommons and 1.5 rares for the same price as a normal 10 card booster. And this scale is even more tipped to our side if we are talking about Generation boosters, since they aren't sold out of the box with the pin in USA.

Is there a easy way to see how far along is my collection in a given set?
In collection stats it shows Set Nearest to Completion but it doesn't actually say how many cards I'm missing from that set.
I tried setting the filter to a specific collection and showing not owned but it counts foils and non-foils as different cards, so it's fucking useless.

How much do the cheaper Basic, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket sets go for? I want a mint pack to open for myself but if it's like, 40 bucks or more then I won't even bother.

I tried the online TCG today but it was too demanding of my computer. Even with the "fastest" option. Plus the card images loaded really fucking slow-like. If it ain't gonna be fun I guess I'll give it a pass and stick with the physical cards and the Game Boy game.

Do you want a Camerupt deck? A Charizard one? A Delphox? Because none of these cards have any synergy or sense outside of being the same type.

Do theme tournaments with basic green or blue when they rotate back in or buy booster codes to get tradeable boosters and then trade for things you need.

Every deck runs:
>3-4 Sycamore
>0-3 Birch
>1-2 Lysandre
>4 Ultra Ball
>4 VS Seeker
Then everything else is subjective based on the deck and your preference of techs. There's no point in telling you how to improve your mess because it's inherently shit.
I can tell you that Shauna, Steven, Tierno, and Robe are unusable shit.

Trevenant is pretty cancer, but it's not as hard a win as Toad used to be last format.
If Trev really ravages you that hard, try running Hex Maniac to play around it, or run 2-2 Garbodor and try to set it up first.

Well, Flareon can only deal 150 after Band off of four fire energies, and even that takes an amount of setup. That's not particularly impressive.
Ignoring your hyperbole, either run tankier Pokemon that can survive a magic number hit, or just take it and win with the prize trade.

You don't need to, you just need to get a tool down asap. Even if you're too slow, that's what the Hex are for.
