You are now a gym leader.

What is your type, team, and gym layout?
Do they all have an overarching theme or is it just the favorite Pokémon you like to use?

Choose wisely, because trainers are going to come very very soon.

Fourth gym, bug type

No trainers, just a hallway lined with thousands of cockroaches. So many you can't see the walls or the ceiling or floor. I'm through a door at the end. When you enter the hallway, the door locks behind you. You have to walk through the cockroaches to fight me. Not even a hard battle. I'd have a Larvesta, lv 26, Joltik lv 25, and Ariados lv 30. But first, cockroaches.

Concept: Ducks
Type: Multiple
Badge: Bill Badge

The gym isn't located inside a building, instead it's located on a giant natural swimming hole/pond, which is extensively used as a diving hole. The leader, Duncan, is a short, fat man with scuba gear up to his neck and a single blonde tuft of hair on his head. Despite his occupation, he can't actually dive, he just bobs in the water like a buoy. Right before you walk up and challenge him, he's informed that a diver has been lost. He forces you to go find them, because he's an asshole. You have to dive underwater into the pond and that's when the escort mission begins. On the way down, there are no trainers and you can easily find the lost diver, but the way up is not the same. Once you find the lost diver, each battle becomes a double battle with the lost diver as your partner. The problem is that the lost diver's Pokémon is 10 levels below the enemy trainers there, so you have to make sure his Pokémon don't faint. There are 4 trainers on the way up and serve as the gym trainers. Once you arrive on land, the diver thanks you and runs off, allowing you to fight Duncan. Duncan makes everyone call him the "Diving Extraordinaire" so everyone thinks he's a monotype water leader when he's actually not. Preferably, he would be the 4th or 5th gym leader.

Duncan
>L.33 Porygon2
>L.33 Magmar
>L.33 Farfetch'd
>L.34 Ducklett
>L.34 Golduck
>L.35 Ludicolo

After defeat, he'll give you the Bill Badge and tell you to get lost. The lost diver that you rescued from earlier will then run up and give you the TM for Scald (Duncan will refuse to give you a TM). Afterwards, Duncan will sell SlowpokeTails behind the gym after 11 pm and will be available for rematch after buying 10 of them from him.

ground is my favourite type, so a ground gym would be cool. maybe give out the dust badge and the TM for earthquake or something

the interior of the building would take design elements from arid (particularly mesa) environments and form a sort of butte where you'd need to climb it to find the leader at the plateau.

as far as the battle theme would go (assuming it wouldn't just be the standard theme depending on region), this'd be kinda cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0ZQyrlvMio&ab_channel=PaperChaserDotComTV

team:
>krookodile lv48
>hippowdon lv48
>mamoswine lv49
>garchomp lv50.

I've done a few of these before. This is my first with this type.

6th Gym

Outside looks like a large green house with a large tree growing out of it. Trainers navigate a large thorny hedge maze filled with other trainers. There are dead ends and hidden pitfalls that lead to an area with tall grass filled with grass and grass/poison type pokemon. The gym leader is in the middle of the maze under the huge tree.

Grass type

Tangrowth
Cacturne
Lilligant
Roserade (ace/signature)

Rematch adds Ferrothorn or Whimsicott and Breloom.

Badge: thorn badge. something like pic related.
TM given: TM53 Energy Ball.
Theme: an orchestral/instrumental version of Crystals - Of Monsters and Men.

Gym Number: 4
Gym type: Fairy
Badge: Uncanny Badge
TM: Dazzling Gleam I guess

My character design resembles Qui-Gon Jinn but with black hair, a grin that never goes away and dark, sunken eyes

The Gym's interior looks bigger on the inside and looks like a dark forest that you gotta take the right path to proceed, similar Zelda's Lost Woods. Wrong paths lead you to dead ends where you fight all the Fairy Tale Girls I kidnapped

I use my waifus as a team:
Marill
Kirlia
Togetic only male on my team
Mawile

Rematch evolves everyone and adds Clefable and Florges. Mega Maw is my ace

Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnWV0s43DE4
>>
8th Gym
Theme: Countering all types super effective against fighting
Everyone around the town surrounding this gym suggests that this gym is a fighting type. All the trainers are Black Belts, and the gym is a fighting dojo. As soon as you reach the leader though, (who is clad in a simple gi) the lights go out and the battle begins.

Team:
Drapion (Signature)
Level 52
Cross Poison
Pursuit
Toxic
Swords Dance

Tyranitar
Level 48
Smack Down
Pursuit
Iron Tail
Bulldoze

Sableye
Level 49
Will-O-Wisp
Toxic
Pursuit
Shadow Ball

Rematch adds a bisharp and an Onix
Badge: Guts Badge (looks like a fist)
Gives you the TM Pursuit

1st gym
Fighting type
Gym themed
Battle Badge

You come in to a shiny steel room with gym equipment scattered across the floor.
There are 4 trainers, each one running to a different piece of equipment, standing there for a few seconds, then moving to a different piece of equipment.
Two of the trainers only have one pokemon, the other two trainers have two.

I'll be standing in the back with 3 tyrogues, level 10, 11, and 12 respectively, gym theme is like tribal grunting over rhythmic metal clanging (weights hitting the floor)

Throughout the game you can come back and all 4 trainers will be willing to rebattle you, their teams being adjusted as you progress through the game (8 badges, E4, etc)
and then each one will have some dumb motivational quote at the beginning and end of the battle
>>
7th Gym
Type: Multiple
Theme: "Guardian" Pokemon
The Gym is like a large armoury. Crossed spears that block the path need to be crushed with various medieval weapons guarded by the Gym's trainers. Trainers use Pokemon with stronger defensive stats than attacking stats.
The Gym Leader is clad in heavy armour (think Shovel Knight) with the following Pokemon:
Bastiodon
Kangaskhan
Chesnaught
Blastoise (signature Pokemon)
Each Pokemon has at least one of the following moves: Counter, Mirror Coat, Protect (Spiky Shield for Chesnaught).
Rematch adds Dragonite and Aggron, as well as Mega Blastoise. Defeating him rewards you with the Bulwark Badge and the TM for Roar.
Battle Theme: ASGORE

I'd be a water type leader, my signature pokemon would be politoed. Of course the gym leaders have pokemon they use in every level of play to suit a trainer's skill as we see in origins, but my final rematch team would be

Politoed (specs set)
Kingdra (mixed LO w/ draco meteor set)
Starmie (LO attacker with recover)
Azumarill (AV tank set)
Swampert (Mega set)
Dragonite (bulky DD)
>>
>>25630848
My "type" would be electric, but I'd use a varied team of non-electric pokemon with a share ofelectric moves.

I once planned on making a fangame where the gyms don't use a monotype team but I gave up when I remembered that nobody would play it.
>>
Poison type gym leader.
The team would be based around a Garbage dump in a general shitty part of the pokemon world.
It would be a gym that you could actually encounter wild pokemon in it as you sift through Rubbish.
Or you can use cranes to move blocks of junk to make a bridge.
So you can go the easy way or the puzzle way.

There would be hobo trainers and a few hipsters if you choose to dig through the trash.

Since this is a fantasy setup I will have my own mega evolution to.

Wheezing (Wil-o-wisp, painsplit, Flamethrower)
Skuntank.
Muk
Tentacruel
Venasaur
And my ace would be Mega Garbodor.
It would be Steel poison, he get's trash can armor, and the ability Acid rain. (hail, or sandstorm for poison pokemon)
