Literally playing Pokken right now, the rosters just fine. Each Pokemon is fairly unique (even the Pikachu clone) and the animations are great.
Instead of bitching about the lack of bros, try playing it and find a new bro, because you will.

I was only disappointment by the fact that its fucking pokemon. You have this massive selection of creatures you can put in a game like this, and the manage to have 2 pikachu's, 2 mewtwos and 3 fire starters.
Granted I dont necessarily hate many of the choices, but fuck Chandelure seemed to be the only out of the box playable character they added. There was all sorts of crazy choices they could of made but they stuck with pretty bread and butter kind of mons.
Granted I think everyone knew obvious choices like Pikachu, Blaziken and Lucario were going to be in, would of been nice to see some really out there mons in the game.
I still slightly wanna get the game but im still debating whether the roster interests me enough.

They added garchomp so it's a pretty cool roster I think.
Interesting and diverse. It is too bad that your favourite didn't get in (I would have loved Feraligatr) but I'm sure anybody who is seriously interested in the game can find a Pokemon they like on the roster. If you can't then maybe the problem isn't with the game and you might not like Pokemon that much.
