Nah, I'd prefer rare pokemon that just permanently come that way, maybe with a specific abnormal type or two for each species. Not shiny ultra rare, but uncommon and maybe have it inheritable (aka breed a delta and it will have a higher chance of delta children, breed two deltas and have an even higher chance).
Mark it with a delta icon next to the name, but yeah, still one per team.
