legendary capturing, mirage islands and whatnot are not postgame, they can all be done right after you capture Groudon/Kyogre. Only postgame in ORAS is Delta Episode and Battle Resort.

One of the biggest complaints about gen 2 is that the game has a very, very poor distribution of new to old mon and it didn't help that a sizable chunk were trade evos. DP had a similar problem.

Bianca, Cheren and N are much better written characters than Hugh, but otherwise the only thing you're missing from BW is a more fresh and different take on Pokemon. BW2 are more standard games in the series
