Thoughts?
My thoughts are, like any other discussion of this review, that one should read past the bullet points before attempting to assert what the writer meant by them

>b..b....but muh memes, too much water lmao! fuck IGN!
"Oh shit, I gotta put something as pro, uh...what's the name of a mechanic? Phase shifting. Yeah, phase shifting works."
I've been playing for a couple of days and I can see where the reviewer is coming from, there's a lot to think about in the moment, more than any other fighter I've ever played at least.

IGN is shit though, they don't know what they're talking about most of the times and are terrible at games, read their reviews and see how flawed they are, their video reviews are even worse

>overwhelming mechanics
does this mean you have to remember combos like Budokai Tenkaiichi? Or does it mean he can't handle more than pressing one button at a time (like in Smash)?

too much water

>he
A woman wrote that review.

He means that there's a large quantity of mechanics (combos are not mechanics, by the way) at play and when you first dive in it can overwhelm you.
>>25620535
No, it was written by a man by the name of Darry, someone who's actually actively interacted with the fighting game community for a long time. A woman narrates the video review.
>I'm experienced in fighting games
>These mechanics are too hard
I didn't give IGN bull for their "le funny too much wata" but honestly, how the fuck are you experienced in fighters but this game is too overwhelming?
