some autist riddle me this
i always wondered which one was stronger but never bothered to actually test this
They are equivalent if trained identically.
>>25619559
really?
and i had hoped the bottom one was stronger
>>25619541
One will just have shitter moves
All the stone evolutions stop learning level up moves if evolved too early. In that specific case. Things like Lilligant at level 1 would never get to learn Sleep Powder or Stun Spore.

>implying 1 + 100 is 100
>>25619660
>implying lvl 101 exist
>>25619675
Anybody who has graduated from Pokemon 101 would know this.
>>25619691
glitch pokemon don't count
>>25619541
They can potentially be the same. The problem is the movepool.
arcanine doesn't learn moves so the bottom one is better
>>25619541
The bottom one.
Growlithe gets better moves.
>>25619541
While people complain about moves, you don't actually need any of Growlithes moves to make a good Arcanine.
Arcanine usually picks from Extremespeed, Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Morning Sun, Crunch, and then maybe some autists like Outrage or Double Edge or something. These are all egg moves or moves Arcanine can learn on level up.
So they're the same thing. First is potentially easier to train.
Not a single person has mentioned how that stats will lay out the same regardless of the evolution level.
>>25621437
Actually, almost everyone has. Get the fuck off my board.
>>25621437
Evolution level doesn't effect EV gain. All evolution does is bump up the base stats.
>>25619691
But 101 doesn't exist
Is this all from the misunderstanding when the guide explained how unevolved pokemon learn moves sooner?
>>25619541
Bottom, but why the hell would you want a level 99 Growlithe in the first place?
