>good ability
>amazing movepool
Can a mega save it?
>Shit stats
>Shit typing
Game Freak had the same thought with Beedrill
>>25616355
If it's typing is changed back to Bug/Water and its min-maxed the fuck out, then maybe
Maybe. I'm still waiting for a Bug/Water Pokemon that stays Bug/Water.

Mega Beedrill is decent enough now, but it suffers from a much shallower movepool than Masquerain.
>>25616376
Yeah I forgot to add those two points.
>>25616388
As has been said, dib dubs, the mega could be bug/water. Since some seem to have a theme of incorporating stuff from prevos. Scary faced water bug could be neat.
>>25616381
I'm not sure which direction it should be min maxed to though. It gets roost, defog, sticky web, and scald so bulk would be cool, but it can also quiver dance or quiver pass with great coverage in the unique for its typing hydro pump and ice beam.
>>25616355
gib bug/water type and levitate slashed with levitate as abilities
>unnerve
>>25616376
Mega Beedrill is good, though, so with that logic, yes, a Mega would save it.
>>25616355
If they make it bug/water it can be decent.
>>25616388
I remember when I used to see these niggas in the mud near a pond. I took a stick and poked the nigga so that he went into the water so I could see him better.

It's going to want as much in SpAtk and Speed as possible with some in Defense. Keep Intimidate.
>Quiver Dance
>Scald/Hydro Pump
>Ice Beam (for Dragons and Grass types)
>HP Fire (Steel types)/Giga Drain (other Water types+Recovery)/Bug Buzz (Strongest Bug STAB+Substitute bypass)
This thing can be a Physical attacker's nightmare. There's nothing that can fully take advantage of Intimidate/Scald shenanigans like a potential Mega Masquerain can.
Also, support Megas a shit.
I really want it to have a Bug/Water mega
That's way too good of a type to lose on evolution
