will do, does it work for visual boy?
Don't have everyone but I'll post who I got
Any good hacks with realmons? I hear reborn is edge beyond edge, is it at least bad enough to laugh through?

in terms of difficulty hacks, there are Blue/Crystal Kaizo or Red ++, Fire Red Omega/Yet Another Fire Red Hack, Eccentric/Expert/Cuckold Emerald, BS Platinum/Platinum Enhanced, Sacred Gold/Storm Silver, Blaze/Elite/Pitch Black and White (2) Eternal X/Wilting Y and Meme/Star Sapphire
there's more but these are the ones people usually play through

How do I patch/use the 3ds romhacks? Did they make an emulator recently?

Homebrew
zeta/omnicron are really good and have a solid dificulty curve.
You might like Flora SkyIf you have more Erika that'd be great.

>Crystal Kaizo
As someone who loves that hack, I'm not sure if that's a good starting point just because of how quickly it goes full retard in difficulty. More power to OP if he decides to, though.
Have an old, outdated pastebin from the old hacking general, OP.

Gaia is a good hack that's more recent than this list, too.
Yet Another FireRed Hack is pretty good, and Gaia is one of the best out there.

>you only get the ips
I'm not saying its impossible to get the programs to hack it, but its kinda obnoixus then just linking the already hacked rom

The reason they do this is to make it impossible to be targeted by Nintendo, since they could take down the ROMs if they really wanted to.

You know a safe site to get fire red 1.0?
All I can find is 1.1
>>25615777
Aren't all ROM hacks with the word Kaizo in them poorly designed garbage, though?
>>25618861
Emuparadise has two different ROMs, I'd try both of those.

The original Kaizo Mario World is genius design, though. Kaizo just has a bad name because of idiots who think "oh I'll just add spikes and spikes and spikes and make a million billion jumps that require glitches!" is kaizo, when rather it's about pulling fast ones on the player.
To give a well-known example (inb4 >e-celebs):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua6pbz3ROvQ
Special Stage 2 is full of bullshit jumps, overly long waiting segments, etc., as is stereotypical of Kaizo, on a time limit. It seems like you can barely make it to the end with the time limit, having to grab Yoshi from a block at 4:45, and a tight set of invisible blocks at the end as the finish. Then you get to the end, andthere's a pit over a line of coins at the end killing you in the victory sequence, requiring you to get to the end of the level EVEN FASTER to grab a P-block and hit it. The e-celeb playing then had to play the level from the start a second time to get there quick enough to be able to grab the P-block.Also keep in mind that Kaizo Mario World is mostly a lot easier than that level, that's the endgame.
Kaizo is definitely about frustrating the player, but it's doing so in a smart way rather than just requiring frame perfect jumps with no thought.
As for Crystal Kaizo (never played Blue), it has some good design and some bad. There are dungeons that are straight mazes like Mt Mortar, but then there are occasionally really good design choices for kaizo, like Union Cave, which has a maze blocked by a trainer, but when you get to the end of a section, if you didn't talk to the trainer to battle them, they move to fight you, and you have to walk all the way back to the start to get past the trainer. And if you white out or otherwise leave, the trainer moves back and you have to do the maze normally. Post limit, if you want more I'll post more example, it's good if you like kaizo.
Pokémon Vega is has mostly good fakemon and is well-made in general, but has a brutally unfair level curve. It's great if you don't mind either heavy grinding or training specific counters for gyms though.
