In an earlier thread we came up with two nicknames for the bird seen in the Sun/moon footage (there were some others but mostly jokes or bad)
The suggestions were Chipeck, and Picody

There was also a previous strawpoll with a third option, but that barely got any votes, and it was pretty similar between chipeck and picody there, so i made a new one

I picked Chipeck, but you'll never get everyone to agree on a temporary fan name. We tried that with Gen 5 when we only had the japanese names for 6 months, it didn't really work out.

Second stage: Outspread wings and sticky sap coating the tip of its beak. Holding a twig in its beak. sharper eyes. Darker markings and a tail split into three feathers. The head crest splits at the tip.
Final evolution - Long and thin rather than bulky with a stretched neck. Double crest (back to back not side to side). Piercing eyes and curved feet holding onto a snapped branch with sap dripping from it. Wings end in pointed feathers rather than the soft curved ones. Head is red and now the crest is black going to a black hood marking around the face.
