Considering it's name is based on the word "vixen", I pronounce it as if I was saying the words "bricks" and "in" right after each other. Basically making the a silent. Sounds closer to saying "vixen" and I think it sounds less awkward than saying it as "brakes" "in" with the a not being silent.
I know it's supposed to be "bray-zen" but it doesn't sound right to me and end up calling it "br-aye-ksen" for some reason anyway
