Just used Victini today to bring Honchkrow, Talonflame, Gigalith and Keldeo-R from level 1 to 5. Pretty much out of good stuff to train now.
Keldeo seemed underpowered compared to other Fighting-types, but a bunch here seemed to use it. Talonflame and Gigalith provide some utility to a whole three more types, and that's it.

I almost killed it with (ALL MAX) Gengar/Darkai/Giratina/Genesect. The trick is stopping disruptions, either with Sleep Charm and it's own Mind Zap. I did it with only DD (after failing to kill it twice itemless) but didn't get a big capture rate. Still caught it in a great ball though. I think Attack Up might be more useful, and I'd get a DD too, I think those would be more than enough.

AP + DD = smooth sailing, beat it with 10 moves left, about 60% catch chance. I tend to always buy AP with these events now since it usually increases the chance more than a Great Ball.
Unless I can finish with 20% or more catch chance itemless, then I try that.

Mission Card explained:
Each card has between 1 and 3 pikachus icons of difficulty
There are then a list of missions on that card
Each mission has an objective, target stage, and required team member, though the latter two can say any stage/pokemon
Each individual mission awards between 1 and 4 stars (as of right now, maybe room for 5 star missions)
Clicking the gift icon in the top right shows a list of rewards given at certain amounts of stars, so you can get many rewards on your way to finishing a card
It also shows how many stars you have out of how many there are
Card 2 has a Lucarionite, gives a Jewel if you already have it
Card 3 has new enhancements: "Exp. Booster M" and "Raise Max Level"

My guess is 3 of these enhancements are Exp Boosters Small Medium and Large, then Raise Max Level is probably the lollipop and raises it by 1 with a max of 5
Level 10 still says Level MAX, so I wonder if using these changes that to 10 and MAX for that mon becomes 11 (or 15 eventually) or if it says MAX+1 and so on
On card 3 you get it for 14 stars while a speedup is 22 stars, so it's considered less valuable than them. However it is after a Jewel at 10 stars, so it is still quite rare.

The 0/5 lollipops is just on the kanto starter lines actually. Everything else seems to have 0/0.
Apparently stages can be skipped, as in you unlock multiple at once. Not sure how this plays out if it's just a set of 5 can be done in any order but you still need all 5 done to unlock the next set, as I've already completed all the stages and can't check.
When using the change team menu, the super effective or not very effective icons are shown next to the mons as you scroll rather than requiring you to click on them

Checking competition rankings has two tabs, Reward and Top 5
Reward shows the different reward tiers with placement number range, along with the current player and score at the bottom placement within that tier (with ????? for the consolation prize level)
Top 5 is the same as before just with an updated look, all the same info though
