I'm working on a Silver rom hack and I cannot figure out how to swap in-battle trainer sprites.
i.e. Make Sabrina's sprite appear when challenging Falkner.
How do I change the pointers to load her sprite when challenging him?
I'm not familiar with Silver hacks, but couldn't you just change sabrina's roster and place her battle at falkner's location?

I'm relatively new to hacking, but I could look into that. Others have recommended me having her sprite load in place of his but with no explanation.

Whatever you're working on, you shouldn't be hacking Silver. The Crystal disassembly will make literally everything besides map editing easier.
