Gonna dump a good chunk of my folder.
Let's have a little bit of discussion while we post some art.
It's the 20th year of Pokemon, so I'm thinking of playing through each region, while watching the corresponding anime season.

I've actually been playing less video games in general as of late. I'm filled to the brim with a bunch of work and stress. I'm starting college next year and I keep freaking out that I won't pass this year because I have a big writing project coming up. And I suck at writing...

I love art like this, where it almost seems as if there aren't many pokemon but if you look closely there are. Even though pokemon are more sociable than animals because of co-evolution with humans, I still like to think they are just easy to befriend and still retain a primitive shyness to hide from people.

No it's okay, it's still a really cool image anyway. It's just the depiction of Gyarados half-submerged, contrasted with your trainer struggling on a less-than-stellar swimmer that gets me. The artist did a stellar job of capturing that foreboding and helpless feeling.

I follow artists who put out good stuff and go from there. They follow other skilled people and you can go off that. Check out solid dA fanartist's favorites and you should find stuff. Twitter seems to be the main hub as of late though since fanartists (the ones I follow at least) have been pulling away from tumblr.
