I know people like to say its because GF is lazy, but I dont think its that, I mean making a second model would be hardly any work. I think theyre just retarded, and feel this need to validate things with a Mega instead of placing them cleverly. I like his design, the model just needs a rework.
His design is more or less the same as standard Salamence, but with the moon shaped wings, larger horns and the underbelly shell developing more. When grounded, it looks pretty much the same.
They just have it awkwardly sitting in it's "speed" form, without considering how it should look. The legs are folded in on the wrong end (need to shrink in order to fold vertically, instead of just horizontally), neck is held up, and it's legs and tail are just fucking hanging back defeating the purpose of going into a more compact look. Also, idleing in a stance like that looks lame.
Its the sort of thing that'd look cool when flying at high speeds- like it's meant to- and not just in a resting pose. They should have the resting pose be it standing, and it going into that compacted form when dashing for an attack.
