The leader of the evil team is a woman, related to the champion (which should be her brother, a cute guy whose team's theme should be paranormal like psychic and ghost and fairy, he steps in before you get to her sister, after you've defeated the E4, so that his battle actually IS the champion battle), and after you defeat the villain shes like
"WHAT DID YOU DO STUPID" and it turns out that she was actually on the good side and even if she, like, stole everyone's pokemon, she did it to battle the legendary pokemon, because truth is that the legendary pokemon wanted to destroy the region because it is too sinful (sun version) or too good (moon version)
So the post game will have an actual story in which you have to fight the legendary together with the main characters, or so i hope.
