We can all agree that Victini is a gen 4 pokemon, right?
>>25581028
no?
>>25581061
why?
>>25581028
Which dex is to be believed? The Unova one or the National one?
>>25581064
Presumably because it's #000 in the Unova dex, implying it's not native to Unova.
>>25581064
>Generation "V"
>"V" is the roman numeral of 5
>"V"ictini has a "V"-like crest on it's head
It was always so obvious.
>>25581064
Because it appears in a Gen 5 game for the first time. The real question is why you think it was a Gen 4 Pokemon.
Is there a reason Victini is at Liberty Garden?
>>25581101
well that doesn't mean shit because IV stands for 4 and there's an "V" in it
>>25581028
It's from the Unova (region).
It don't inhabit the Sinnoh (region).
>>25581154
>it appears in a Gen 5 game for the first time
according to your logic bonsly, weaville, mime jr., munchlax and lucario are all gen 3 pokemon
>The real question is why you think it was a Gen 4 Pokemon
simply because the first pokemon of each gen is the grass starter
are you new to the franchise?
>>25581190
So Murkrow is a Generation I Pokemon? They can only be found in Kanto
>>25581220
Murkrow is second generation Pokémon.
The Remakes are alternative timelines.
>>25581220
According to The National Pokédex.
That's a second generation Pokémon.
>>25581167
Two hundred years ago, an ultra-rich
family bought this island.
They named it Liberty Garden.
It's a place where people and Pokémon
can live freely.
>>25581220
Generation and region are two different things. Don't even pretend that they aren't.
>>25581291
explain it to >>25581190 then
clearly >>25581220 just tried to refute him
are you autistic?
>>25581291
The National Pokédex is good source for fighting against Poké-idiots
>>25581169
yeah but there's no i on its head
>>25581332
I didn't say that his design is supposed to resemble roman numerals though
The only generational division I remember is only in the 6th gen's National dex, and it is only manifested by the multicolored slide that goes through the list. Does Victini occur at the beginning of the 5th gen's part on that? Is it even visible? It may be a gradient.
>>25581217
Huh? All those mons first appeared in a gen IV game...
>>25581370
no they didn't
>>25581375
Okay, enlighten me. What gen III game did they appear in?
>>25581386
>>25581392
Fair enough.
Are you fine with "A pokémon belongs to the generation of the first game to include it as a useable mon" or "A pokémon belongs to the generation of the first core series game to include it" (I would favour the latter).
Are you all blind? What gives us information about a pokemon? The pokedex. And in which category is Victiny in the ORAS pokedex? The Unova/Gen 5 category. Now shut up or write Masuda your shit about Victini being a Gen 4 mon, dumbass.
>>25581520
No es baito
>>25581028
it's gen 4.5xD
>>25581661
Gen 4 is actually Gen 3.5, so this is Gen 3.fuckurself
>>25581028
That's like saying Togepi is gen 1 or Manaphy is gen 2.
Great thread senpai
>>25581392
>side games
>mattering at all
>>25581727
>main games mattering
Absolutely nothing follows the main games at all. The only lore that matters in any capacity is that of the legends. Regular pokemon have no solid definition at all.
Did anyone else think the Kanto in GSC was creepy as hell?
>>25582149
no it was scarier in RBY
