I couldn't think of a witty name. As I've said before, my gym would be a Therapist's Office, where the first trainer would be in the waiting room, the second would be the escort to the doctor's office, the third would be a doctor, but the reveal would be the Gym leader arriving after you for their appointment. Gym leader has anger management problems and is attempting to find a calming center, does so with Mega Medicham.

I know there hasn't been a Dark-type gym leader since the series' inception. Thought I'd try my hand at this.
Noire, named after the ol' mystery flicks. Three Pokemon, ranging from levels 38-42, with Greninja being his 'main'. He's a former P.I. In order to battle him, you must defeat several trainers across the city, who give you clues as to his whereabouts. Piece it together and find him in a building you didn't expect. For bonus, the battle takes place with a black-and-white filter.

My gym leaders run a Double Battles workout gym. Their names are Buffy and Brandy who start out the battle as overbearing Crossfit trainers and gradually start changing their preachy, brute speed approach to their battling.
Their moves of choice are Quick Attack and Baton Pass, but they hand out the latter as a TM at the end of the battle.

not the same format obviously, but i liked the template from another of these threads from awhile ago. this was before XY came out, so i'd switch moltres for talonflame, but yeah.
I always liked how the Sootopolis gym was in the middle of the lake in the city, maybe something similar for my gym would be cool. Lake in a forest would be my theme. The idea of owning both a slowbro and slowking appeal to me from an in game stand point

7th Gym of a retired archaeologist turned gym leader

This is Wanda. She is a witch and the very 1st gym leader in the region. The gym is designed like an 17th century coven house. As a conjuror of spirits, she is the first Ghost-type Gym Leader to be the beginning gym. Along with her signature Spiritomb, she will select either Phanthump, Litwick, or Frillish to counter your starter Pokémon. Since the starter Pokémon probably only know Normal-type or STAB moves at this stage of the game, the player is forced to strategize around this unconventional first Gym Leader.
Her move of choice is Mortal Edge, a Ghost-type move that can hit Normal-type Pokémon. It has 40 power 90% Acc with a 30% chance to paralyze. Distribution is limited to the 6 ghost-lines that Wanda uses and any starter Pokémon.
