I can give you a semi-long one.
Blaziken and Greninja are both ubers. Both see varied use, Blaziken has more, though, for being able to BP Speed Boosts to a Primal Groudon.
Charizard sits at the top of OU, CharX being more useful than Y for being able to boost and steamroll teams, only being truly checked by Clefable. Serperior and Venusaur work as a fast free-boosting special sweeper and really fucking bulky tank in OU, respectively.
Mega Swampert is the king of UU, its swift swim set is one of the scariest things in the tier. chesnaught has OU and UU viability for its ability to check key mons and be a pain for phys attackers. Feraligatr was UU's go-to DD sweeper, and Blastoise has middling use in UU for being a bulky water tank outclassed by others. mega sceptile is a decent special sweeper in UU as well. infernape and empoleon see use in both uu and ou but generally are more common in the latter, they rank above mega scept and mega blast.
delphox is RU's main fire special sweeper, having a really high Sp Atk. emboar is an unpredictable and strong RU attacker, able to run a variety of sets and just hitting really hard. typhlosion can use a meme eruption set but it's not terribly useful in ru.
samurott and torterra both fulfill certain niches in NU - samurott's stronger and generally better.
meganium is pure fucking trash, never use it unless you want PU guys to laugh at you.

I have a feeling the gen 2 starters will get megas in S/M. Since they've already had their games remade and the gen 1 starters got megas in X/Y.
