>What is this?
It's a Chinese mobile game where several Pokemon are turned into surprisingly great waifus and husbandos. You build a team of five (and one backup) and go through various stages and also fight people in a PvP arena. It's like Plants vs. Zombies except better because it's a waifu sim.

Android users: Go to the play store and search Elves union, or download the apk here:http://lopcdn.gamedreamer.co.th/apk/kden_efunfun.apk
iOS users: Go to the app store and look for Elves union.
If you can't play the game on mobile or want a faster playing quality, download BlueStacks, then download the above apk.
>What server should I use?
Most of us are on S04 Cerulean City although you can use any server, or several if you want to reset your team. S01-05 give the best rewards.
>Which starter should I choose?
Charmander or Bulbasaur, Squirtle choose your waifu
>How do I get X pokemon?
Tap on the Wiki button in the game menu, tap the pokemon you're looking for, and scroll down until you can find how it's obtained. You're usually gonna need to be lucky, though.
>How much should I spend on this game?
You can go totally free and do just fine since the game gives you quite a lot for free, as long as your rolls aren't total garbage. Get a Miltank as she’s a good early healer, even if she only is a 4-star. If you want to spend money for Pokestones, go up to VIP3 ($10 total) so that you can participate in the Server Fund once you hit level 20, which gives you lots of free Pokestones. You get Zapdos at VIP6 ($60) and Lugia at VIP10 ($700) but they're not really worth it.
>How should I build my team?
You have two options: 3 melee, 1 healer, 1 ranged; or 2 melee, 1 healer, 2 ranged. More details in the pastebin, or ask for advice. Try to fill your team with 15 quality 5-stars (purple stars).

Bring two healers in your team if you're going to tackle the Champion Tower, with this your team will be invincible.

You get additional rewards.
There are the chests you can unlock by right clicking them in the bottom left corner of the map, you can also activate lesser stat boosts on the "team" screen.
And it allows you to auto-farm those zones later, if you need to.
So what time in EST can you participate in guild battles again? I can't see how to access the schedule anymore.

It has easily fulfilable relationships, has access to freeze, which is probably the best CC in the game and is easy to awake since you can farm fragments in Elite Sinoh and combine totodile on the summon platform.
I'd say it's a great idea if you can fullfill it's relationships and/or don't plan on getting moltress soon.

Milo works well with totodile since they have similar relationships and are in eachother relationships aswell.
There's also a really big difference between a 15 quality healer and everything lower, I'd say getting one is a priority if you don't plan on using an E-V or a ralts anytime soon.
Just be warry, feebass requires 70 water stones to evolve.

They're pretty similar and work well with the same pokemons aswell as with eachother.
Play them both if you're running a 3-1-1, I wouldn't bother replacing one with the other else, the difference is too slim.

Machamp might be the strongest 5 star striker in the game.
Three "strong" relationships that are also easy to get (the starters) plus awesome attacking skills.

Charizard's biggest advantage is her piercing shots, which is only useful in very low level PVP; (before the healers get strong enough to compensate) and PvE waves.
Outside of that, Venu is better if you have no other instances of "group damage buff" (endeavor, venu's lvl2 awakening skill).
Both deserve to be in your buddy slots if you're running machop and a stater, tho.

Fill the friends list as soon as possible. You need it for the Myth Monsters. If you fight 5 Myth battles, you get a free fragment of one of them. Plus, free stamina. Post your IGN and we can add you.

Your pokemon's levels might be maxed out, but I'm sure there's a ton of gear upgrading you could be doing, possibly awakening, and doing nonsense with potential points. There are so many different currencies and ways to buff up your team that there's usually something that you could be doing.

Doesn't seem to give better bonuses than the others. And it's harder to protect because it can be attacked by the other two teams at once. Still, we can cutoff the green team by taking the one spot they have connected to it. Then we'd only have to worry about attacks from the blue team.

Those are set pieces. When you click on the item and look at its stats, you can see the bonuses it will give for wearing multiple pieces of the set.
Any monster can wear any gear, but the set bonuses are designed to help specific roles. The healer set for example buffs gives bonuses that buff healing done, and this does nothing for non-healers. The tanking set gives + defense, which doesn't help much but melee pokemon, etc.

It's actually only slightly stronger than Meganium's. She gets 1.2% every second and he gets 17% every 10 seconds. He does have more base HP than her, though. But the 10 second wait means he's more susceptible to burst damage. They're both kind of broken, I guess. Nerf plz.

Saving them for when there are pieces of a pokemon you want in the Consume Gift event and then spending them on useful things, like buddy slots or awakening. Buying bread and spending on the Meowth event is good too if it will help you complete daily quests, since you can get more pokestones there. Also, you should always try to have at least 3000 in case you find the magic well.

Do Factory and Champion Tower and fuse all the blues you get. Once you get to floor 10 of Champion Tower, you get one more piece of gear from each chest. The drop rate from stages is insultingly low.

once you hit floor 45 you get 4 purple item / 8 blue per floor or champions tower so just keep pushing
floors , its easy to do just turn off auto during the end and leave only a tank hitting the last mon to heal up to full before each stage and take all the defnsive bonuses , doing this you can cheese through most floor as long as you save abilties for OH SHIT situations.

Just a reminder that the Guild War battles start in about half an hour. The game changed again and is now called Fantasy Monster, so you'll probably have to download this version if you want to fight. I'm not sure if this fixed any of the loading issues, but if you still experience any problems just change your device to the Hong Kong GMT+8 time zone.

I'm running Milotic, Gyarados, Wartotle, Machoke and Meganium, with Pikachu on yhe bench because it's my only pink star extra, aiming to get Entei to replace Machoke and move him to bench. At 72k right now on my 8th day in!

About to head to Johto Victory Road. Should be pretty easy, since I raised my OA by about 50k in the last 3 days and have been steamrolling through the stages. Also trying to get to Ruins of Alph in Elite to farm Ralts so that I can awaken Suicune.
Working towards getting Entei and another Mudkip so that I can awaken the one I already have.
OA is around 140k. Team: Wartortle, Suicune, Vaporeon, Slowbro, *Arcanine, Lapras. Sadly, I will have to replace Vaporeon with Entei, since their buffs overlap and Vaporeon's relationships are impossible to work with. I would really recommend not dropping Machoke. Machamp is a really solid front liner and his relationship bonuses are mostly the same as your starter's, so you can stick the same pokemon in your buddy slots and it will benefit both of them. Honestly I would probably suggest ditching Gyarados if you really want the Entei in your team.

I don't think Lapras fragments show up in the black market. You can only get them from events like the spending rewards, although the one going on right now is just giving worthless swablu pieces instead. You can get lucky and summon a Lapras, but that's very rare obviously.

I think shiny pokemon fragments have shown up there a few times. Those don't appear normally in the black market, although there have been a couple events where for a few days there would always be a certain shiny fragment available in the market. They're expensive though - 70 souls for a single piece.
Do legendaries need specific pokemon to awaken to colors before orange, or do they only need specific pokemon to awaken to orange and after?
Also, how much better are 18 quality pokemon than 15 quality pokemon?
I could potentially get a Mew relatively soon if I dumped all of my honor into buying nidoran pieces, but I would be replacing a starter with full relationship bonuses and I definitely don't have another shiny growlithe/absol. If I could awaken her to purple quality without more shinies, and if her extra stats are significantly better than a 15 quality pokemon's, then I'll go for it. If not, I'll just go with my current team for a while longer.

I don't know about other legendaries, but the dogs only need a specific one for orange and after. Before that, it's one 5* for level 2 and two *5 for levels 3 and 4.

How much better in terms of stats are legendaries typically? If I make a big legendary it would definitely have 0 relationship bonuses for a pretty long time, and I'd be trading it for a max relationship bonus Charizard probably. I'm not sure if the stat increase is worth losing out on all of those +20% attack buffs.

You can use the pokedex to look them up and compare their stats. It looks like mew has about double the attack and hp of Charizard, so I'd compare that against how awakened your Charizard is and what relationship bonuses you will be losing before making a decision.

Stats wise they are better if you have the means to awake them, and they need a shitton of awake stones. I do better with level 15 Pokemon and have beaten legendary stack teams easily.

I don't spend much. It's probably not a good idea to switch anything out. It would be really cool to have a Mew on the team, but it would probably be stuck with at purple quality with no relationship bonuses for months, if I even have enough stones to get it that far. I guess I'll just stay one of what seems like 30% of the playerbase that uses a Charizard as their leader.

Many reasons. Meganium is much easier to awaken than Lapras, Meganium's healing ability is amazing, and Lapras's damage reduction ability actually makes it an incredible choice for a backup instead of a main team member.

Meganium is easily available and quite powerful because of her regen. Admittedly, aggron is better because he becomes wallier the longer he stays in battle but she is more common. What's $15 for a good, fully evolved tank when you have a team of 14qa mons or worse.

She can dash to the healer. Her poison is pretty good in whittling down the enemy frontline in stalemate situations when both teams are using basic attacks and nothing gets done because of good heals/defense.
Against teams with about the same OA, if I can poison their tank and/or jump on their healer before she dies or they get to my healer then I've pretty much won.
