while OP's list is kind of fucking stupid, i do believe there is a trend here with the first and last game on each console. i wouldnt consider some of the first ones "shit", but i do feel like gamefreak uses the first games on a console as a test to see what they can improve.
for example: X/Y introduced a lot of new stuff. ORAS added some new stuff too but took away some stuff from X/Y. same with D/P and Platinum.
I would assume SM will take different aspects from both those releases and do something new. I could also be completely wrong since GF has fucked shit up in the past. just my theory though

Crystal is good and also introduced the Battle Tower, but no Ampharos, Ho-Oh can only be caught if you have the three Legendary Beasts (at least Suicune isn't roaming on this game), and can't be played on Game Boy, only Game Bot Color.
The good things are: Animated Sprites; Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower are Tutor Moves (but requires Casino Points), introduced the Female Player, etc.

Is a good game but a bit disappointing, FR/LG didn't had any notable inclusion of Japanese Blue or Yellow because Jp Blue only had wild Jynx, and Machamp and Gengar thanks to in-game trade.
HG/SS included things from Crystal, like Suicune side-quest, Eusine, Clear Bell and Tidal Bell are used to summon Ho-Oh and Lugia (depending of the version)
OR/AS were technically a 3D R/S with Day/Night included, almost completely ignored Emerald with not introducing the Battle Frontier or the Battle Tent (almost, because on Delta Episode before battling Deoxys the triangle puzzle do the same pattern that on Emerald, and Steven called to your PokéNav Plus referencing Emerald's PokéNav)
Also, Johto didn't had a Battle Frontier or a Safari Zone and HG/SS gave them to it, while Hoenn only received more Secrets Bases.
