Pikachu pandering benefits Raichu in a lot of ways though, namely by increasing the size of its movepool (which is already massive) through various event distributions, the latest addition being Endeavor through the Pikachu Cup. Really, Raichu has probably the best movepool out of every electric type in the game, and it's all thanks to GameFreaks willingness to pander to Pikachu in all kinds of ways (which nearly always end up benefitting Raichu a lot more lmao).

Raichu has steadily been getting buffs you autists. It has a better support movepool than most electric types (Fake Out and Encore especially) and usable stats.
Pikachu gets some event moves and the Light Ball. So? Still has 35 HP, and 90 Speed meaning it will get one hit in if lucky. Most of the event ones get Static.
Raichu is fine. The real victim is Meganium, which has awful stats and a mediocre movepool and typing. Unlike Feraligatr and Typhlosion it got a worthless HA (Flower Gift would have been perfect) and as a defensive mon, a Mega probably won't save it.

Zygarde has been given it's very own season of the anime where it's the key character to the plot, has a theme deck coming out in the TCG and is also on the cover of a booster pack, got a special place in Tretta and Pokemon Picross, and appears in Shuffle. Aside from not having it's very own game I don't see how it was shafted.

This. Porygon and it's entire evolution line were shafted from the anime entirely and all because of something that Team Rocket AND Pikachu caused. If anything they should have gotten rid of Team Rocket at that time since they were the ones that fired the missiles and caused the epileptic moment that made many children seize up.
