People from shiny hunt general might remember me. I go by Wendy. I got super autistic for a female shiny Froakie that I could name after Mikasa from SNK. This was in early 2014, iirc.
I ended up hatching 3600 eggs. 11 shiny Froakie. It took me about a year on/off. It was so worth it when I got her. But then my Sapphire cartridge, which held all my shinies, died.
Now I'm back on the grind with about 700 more eggs in tow and 2 more Froakie, waiting to meet her again.
Shiny 6IV speed boost torchic. Took 5 minutes and 0 eggs using PKHeX

Shiny Zorua in 2010. It took me over 100 hours to get that fucker to hatch for me. It finally hatched for me in the middle of a chess match with one of my friends.I also won the chess match

Longest 3 nights of hatching eggs for like 3 hours.
I usually get one within a night or two but this one felt like it took forever.
After hatching around 30 boxes of Charmander eggs, I finally got a shiny.
Then I wonder traded 10 boxes and got a shiny Mewtwo, Hydreigon, Torchic, Treecko and 6IV Ditto. Other 20 boxes are still in Pokebank and I'll WonderTrade them when I run out of Rare Candies.

It was even better because I'd hatched the 5 IV HA one on the first egg, then just decided to hatch the rest. Feraligatr is my favorite mon though, so I was pretty damn happy.
