Not really. Electric also has shitty resistances (flying, electric and steel? Trashy stuff.) and ground is a very common attacking type. It's pretty good where it is.

Electric is fine. It's good, but it's not overpowered.
Don't try to fix what isn't broken.
I don't know about electric types as a whole, but it could be cool to have an ability "overcharged" that boosts electric moves by 50% but also makes the poke weak to water.

Electric only has three resistances. Steel type is rarely used offensively, Flying type is barely used aside from a few notable exceptions. And it resists itself (which is standard for most types). Meanwhile Ground is a very common attacking type.

But that's wrong. Pikachu loses the 1v1 with most of the top 20 usage Pokemon in OU even with double speed. It gets OHKO'd but the standard Talonflame, and even Azumarill's Aqua Jet forces it to KO itself through recoil. Let's not even mention the 3 ground types that appear on more than 18% of teams.

There are no good electric mons. Electric mons fit into two categories.

There are no exceptions to this that aren't legendaries.
No electric types that are remotely bulky have recovery, zapdos being the exception here and that's good.
