I don't subscribe to the idea that either is gay, sorry. But Green/Blue is my favorite rival, he beat every gym b4 you and rubbed your face in it everyone you met up. He had a good team and was a very competent battler. He went through great pain and loss over the death of his Pokemon. And when your slow ass finally collected all the badges and defeated the elite four hues who was waiting for you at the top? Your neighbor, your rival, your champion. Humbled by the death of one of his comrades he battles you fiercely, not wanting to give up the title he worked so hard to achieve. And when defeated he doesn't wine, he simply congratulates you and moves on to complete his other goal...
