I've never used a masterball, ever, not even in BW2 where you could get two of them legit. I never capture legendaries unless forced by plot, and the catch rate of the legendaries you're forced to catch are increased anyway, so there's no point in using the masterball.

In ORAS I always use my Master Ball on Deoxys.
Use it on a pokemon that can breed so it's children can inheret the masterball.

It's just a pain in the ass to redo over and over again trying to catch it regular-like. I know a lot of people save theirs for a shiny (or just never use them in an attempt to prove how cool they are) but I've caught every shiny I've ever encountered just with regular balls except for that FUCKING SHINY WOOPER IN THE SAFARI ZONE.
