"What new kind of weather you would like to have and what would be its effect?
For me, Thunderstorm; increases the speed of the electric type, there is a probability (1/5) receiving a thunder attack for any pokemon in the field, steel type pokemon low speed.
I would also like the return of fog, but with several pokemon can take advantage of this, as luxray, noivern or Wailord.
Making Hail viable would be like new weather.

Chocolate rain
>>25403611
Money rain
Sounds cooler as an entry hazard that deals 25% to water and steel types, 6.25% to electric, grass and dragon, 12.5% to neutral and nothing to ground. It would also trigger volt absorb/lighting rod
>empoleon rip
Meteor Shower.
Does damage to both Pokemon every turn. Non-Rock/Steel types that are hit lose 1 stage of Defense. Rock/Steel types take the least amount of damage, while Flying and Fire take the highest amount and the rest take meh amounts.
Foen wind. Boosts flying attacks, damages water types, heals grass types, weakens ice attacks
>>25403733
Also prevents being frozen
Harsh sunlight: Work for fire and grass type
Rain: Work for water, electric and flying type
Sandstorm: Work for ground, rock and steel type
Hail: Work for ice type
AND THE OTHER TYPES?
Bug, Fighting, Ghost, Dark, Psychic, Dragon, Normal, Poison and Fairy.
>>25403733
>weakens ice attacks
Yeah, Ice-type is too broke. This is a nice counter to what is inherently the most broken type in the game.
Acid rain: Hurts all non-poison, non-steel types 1/16 of their hp every turn. Heals poison types 1/8 of their hp.
>>25403716
nice let's just make stealth rocks in weather form and further boost steel because it's so underpowered
>>25403850
>Steel isn't underpowered
You must be back in Gen 2 or something there, Anon.
Well, there's harsh sunlight, so why not pure darkness? Reduces acc of all non dark, psychic, and ghost pokemon
They just need to revamp terrain moves so they don't suck
Some sort of darkness fog to help dark and ghost types
>>25403866
>>>reduces accuracy
Holy shit you're Satan m8.
>>25403836
Let's give it to Gliscor. What could possibly go wrong?
Maybe Star night
Moonlight restores the user's current HP 4/5
Moonblast power is 140
Cosmic Power change to raise Att and S attk
Hypnosis have 100% accuracy
>>25403807
Not my fault the majority of weather in the world doesn't support ice and snow
>>25403883
Give some inducing abilities a-la Drought/Drizzle/Sand Stream.
Insect storm
Bug types get a buff to Sdef or heal a reasonable amount. Any healing moves used by non bug types lose a significant amount of healing done lets say 60% is lost. This affects rest, any draining move, leech seed, recover, berries, etc.
Acid Rain
Poison type: restores the user's current HP 1/16 each turn
Not-poison type: will be damaged for 1/16 of its maximum HP
>>25403998
>set up Acid Rain
>send out Gliscor
>win
Nice.
>>25403899
Think about dark type strategy in gen 2 and 3, especially with swagger.
>turn 1, pure darkness
>turn 2, swagger
>turn 3, toxic
>turn 4, double team
Continue to spam double team until maxed. Reestablish swagger when confusion breaks. Refresh pure darkness after 5 turns. Toxic on every new mon, profit.

Humidity, background music, shade, shade, calm silence, smoke, balmy, UV index 11+ or acid rain, misty moonlight rainbow magic
Ion Storm
Weakens Special Attacks by 30% and boosts Physical Attacks by 30%
for 3 turns
>>25403862
Woosh
>>25404005
gliscor is ground/flying, he said nothing about abilities
>>25404185
>Humidity,
Yeah, could work for bugs, water, and grass
>background music,
This is so stupid,....I like it.
>shade,
Work for the ninja/assasin theme, but not for all dark type
>shade,
Fog could be a good choice for Ghost type, you know creepy atmosphere
>calm silence,
I don't know? what is better for a someone with ESP?
>smoke,
Meteor Storm or just fire storm
>balmy,
So comfy
>UV index 11+ or acid rain,
Perfect
>misty moonlight rainbow magic

Likely to have moon weather since Sun/Moon.
I would like to see full moon that powers up fairy and New Moon that powers up dark type. Pairs nicely with Xerneas and Yveltal.
Also Psychic should have an entry hazard call spirit tag. Upon entry ghost and dark lose their immunities. Psychic types get a defense boost or something.

What would make Hail more viable?
>Decreased damage dealt by Fire attacks.
>Slightly increased chance of freeze hax.
>Hail versions of Sand Force and Sand Rush.
>>25403803
>Mist
Bug/Ghost/Fairy
>Eclipse
Dark/Normal/Dragon
>Incense
Psychic
>Acid Rain
Poison
>>25406601
And throw Fighting in Incense, I suppose.
>>25406514
I think hail and freeze as a status ailment need to be looked at together.
Make freeze last 2 or 3 turns.
If the frozen target is hit, they're unfrozen and take additional damage from the attack that unfroze them.
Hail makes freezing twice as likely to happen.
Maybe make a status move for freezing.
Might not fix hail teams, but it's a start.
>>25406721
>>Freeze
>A Frozen Pokémon has a 25% chance to thaw on its second turn, 50% on its third turn, and is guaranteed to thaw afterwards
>While Frozen, Pokémon cannot attack, except when using a Fire-type move which will immediately thaw them
>Attacking a Frozen Pokémon with any move that makes contact will thaw them, and the move will be a Critical Hit
>A Frozen Pokémon will immediately thaw if hit by a Fire-type move of any kind
>Pokémon cannot be Frozen in Harsh Sunlight. If a Pokémon is already Frozen when Harsh Sunlight takes effect, it will thaw on the following turn. If a Pokémon is Frozen when Desolate Land takes effect, it with thaw immediately.
>In a Hailstorm, the chance of Freezing is doubled.
>>25406601
>Mist
>Increases the power of Bug-type moves by 50%.
>Bug, Ghost, and Fairy types are unaffected by entry hazards.
>Mist versions of Hydration, Rain Dish, and Snow Cloak exist.
>Weather Ball becomes a Fairy-type move, gains an additional 50% power boost as if it were a Bug move.
>Shadow Ball has a 40% chance of lowering Special Defense.
>Moonblast has a 60% chance of lowering Special Attack.
>Moonlight heals 2/3rd health
>Can be cleared by Defog
>Eclipse
>Increases the power of Dark-type moves by 50%.
>Decreases the accuracy of Fairy-type moves by one stage.
>Blocks effects that would heal any Pokemon, including held items.
>Dragon Rush can no longer miss.

>Decreases Dark-type Pokemon's speed by half
>Recover restores 2/3rd health
>Activates a Fighting-type version of Chlorophyll and a Fighting-type version of Sand Force.
>Weather Ball becomes a Psychic moves.
>Decreases accuracy of status moves, unless used by Psychic Pokemon.
>Acid Rain
>Inflicts 1/16 damage to all non-Poison Pokemon at the end of each turn.
>Has a 30% chance of destroying all entry hazards at the start of each turn, aside from Toxic Spikes.
>Removes Steel-type's immunity to Poison.
>Any Pokemon that would be poisoned by an attack becomes badly poisoned instead.
>Activates an Acid Rain version of Rain Dish and Hydration (Non-Poison Pokemon with these abilities will become immune to Acid Rain's negative affects.)
