Honestly? Spend some time on smaller boards, like /m/, /toy/, or /n/. There is so much concentrated autism on some of those boards its surprising they haven't collapsed.
Apart from the furries that migrate here from reddit/deviantart//mlp//whatever, this board has generally decent discussion, isn't enormously cancerous, doesn't try to make the entire site worse, and also has a scarcity of tripfags. Sure there's a lot of autism but then again there are autists on /tg/ and /k/ and a lot of those guys tend to be friendly. We're not too bad, in all honesty, though we're probably towards the lower end of that top 15 I mentioned.
