Part of the lack of new Pokemon in gen 6 was due to the copious amounts of effort and time they likely took modeling every single Pokemon in 3D as well as monamie
Now that that huge task is done I think they've had sufficient time to create much more new Pokemon for a new gen

I think Gen 5 had pretty much the best story and pacing, but not so much of a challenge and was also fairly linear.
For a great game I'd want a lot of side content, multiple optional dungeons/bosses, and good post-game a la Emerald's Battle Frontier.
For a perfect game they'd have to somehow rework the battle system to not be the traditional turn based JRPG, but that's never going to happen so I have to plan my wishes around it.

You're right, but to add, for BW2's defense there was the Hard Mode available, although I had to use GameShark to unlock it.
Although the whole plot point of freezing half of Unova was really badly handled. I felt like towards the end the story was all over the place, andno Hugo/Helga boss.
The GEN VI disappointed me so bad however, I don't know if there's anything they can do to fix it. I don't like Mega Pokemon, the shitty framerate, the hand holding and the easy as fuck battles. Best thing about Kalos was the fucking roller skates.

I have played White 2 through hard mode and it made no difference in the difficulyt after the first gym. Game freak might as well not have added it at all.
