Honestly I don't even think gen 6 is bad, but my point is that even getting something of roughly equal quality in a next gen game is a win (because we have that much extra content to entertain us), where all we get with a remake is the exact same game with a few bells and whistles (even if its the best version of X/Y, its still a rehash that is 99% the same as what we have right now).
