The stats are fine, but how about this for the ability?
It looks like a windup robot with clear casing, and the ability is Windup
If this Pokemon uses a boosting move, it recovers 1/16 HP, but every 2 turns, it will lose one level on the oldest boost it has. Like, if it uses Swords Dance on its first turn in, in 2 turns, it will lose one attack.
I just want it to make use of being a pile of gears.

eh, electrode's movepool is still shit and it gets destroyed by priority or a electric immunity

it's pretty much faster life orb jolteon that doesn't lose life in exchange for using your mega slot and also losing the bonus damage when it gets mach punched, doesn't seem that great

It doesnt need the boost to speed,160 speed should be enough with the remaining 20 in Attack for bigger explosions.

And if youre that fast, gut the defenses so you can reach at least 100 attack. Not like Electrode can take a hit anyway with no resists outside of muh brave bird

I'm not sure how good it would be, but I always liked the idea of Exploud getting an ability that increases the damage dealt by sound-based attacks, and lets them hit through Soundproof.

To be honest I'd imagine Starmie a better candidate for Protean than most Megas, but, it'd most likely just end up as Greninja + if it came to fruition. I made a concept one a while ago but I'm on mobile. It basically became a Gradius ship surrounded with options, which in itself could be a cool idea for an ability but would be even more broken I'd imagine.

Vespiquen's bug/flying typing pretty make its defensive stats kind of pointless. Loses the hive around its body, increasing speed but decreasing defense. Bug/poison typing gives it some defensive capability over bug/flying. Plus it would have okay coverage with its special move pool of poison/bug/rock
