The Pokédex generates data on every single pokemon you catch by simply looking at it.
Clearly this is not possible, so it just makes up random facts and numbers. That is why the descriptions barely ever makes sense.

Magnemite itself is very light but it's screws make up most of its mass.
There is additional retractable screws in magnezone holding them together that add the extra mass.

clearly they get bigger and most likely more denser. I mean Magnemite is .3 meter in height and if magneton height is only 2 magnemite high it should be around .6 meter. But magneton is listed as being 1 meter

There's some truth to it (Charizard can melt nearly anything), there are things that are obviously exaggeration (it can melt 10,000 tons of glazier), and then there are things that might be true, but we can't say for sure (It can melt boulders)
Although a lot of people are too harsh on the dex, you can't deny that a lot of the content is doubt-able, and sounds like myth (kid turned into a Kadabra, Dusclops is like a black hole, the temperature of several fire-pokemon etc etc etc
i can't come up with an example now, but i'm pretty sure some dex entries even contradict things possible in the games themselves

Probably because the Magnemite line has the most resistances of any pokemon. Natural immunity to ground would absolutely make sense, but it would also be pretty OP in a way.
With dark and ghost getting removed from steel resist, they should just replace sturdy with levitate at this point. Or at the very least get rid of Analytic.
