OP, for the past 8 months I tried starting fighting type threads but they mever lasted long because /vp/ doesnt like fighting types outside those that are heavily shilled by nintendo and some
/vp/ only likes lucario, blaziken, breloom, heracross, primeape, poliwrath, hawlucha and the hitmons
Other fighting types get paid dust here

/vp/ doesnt. In claim your bros threads, fave mon of each type, hell in fave mons of each type per gen, you will rarely see the champ line. About half of those posts including him would most likely be from me.
The champ line is in that weird place that it isnt the most popular thing, but not obscure enough to attract hipster boners of vp
