How would you design a pokemon that has Bug as its secondary type? As in, a pokemon that isn't literally an insect, but IS Bug typed.
What are the elemental characteristics of the Bug type? what would a Bug Eeveelution look like, or even a Normal/Bug pokemon?
Could a pokemon ever gain Bug type upon evolving/Mega evolving/forme change?

Something that uses swarms of insects to attack. Maybe like a grass/bug type beehive? It could also get attack order etc.
>>25055073
Something that isn't a bug but has bug traits. A Dragon/Bug similar to Flygon could fit, or a Fighting/Bug that resembles a Kamen Rider.
>implying primary/secondary typing means anything
>>25055073
Something like Flygon. Bug-like characteristics but not actually an insect.

I basically meant "secondary" in the way Poliwrath is more a Water pokemon than it is a Fighting pokemon.
Man, pokeboys are just the cutest

That one dragon type from Sage doesn't really look much different from Haxorus's structure outside the wings.
Having an animal have traits from "fuzzy" insects seems to be the safest bet with fakemon artists, and it honestly works the best.theres about 4 other "bear+bee" fakemons in google images alone
Yes a pokemon can gain the bug type. Think experiment gone wrong or zombie-like alien bug that turns pokemon into bugs. Any alien pokemon could be bug type as a secondary type.

>Pokemon evolves via trading
>but only if you trade for a Bug type
Fucking genius, anon
Normal/Fighting with Simple that Mega Evolves into Bug/Fighting with Justified

Didn't think of trading but that's really good.

The poster for The Fly you posted gave me the idea, since its plot is basically Karrablast and Shelmet trading
Do people actually think that pokemon have primary and secondary types. This is so goddamned autistic

The thread is basically saying "how would a pokemon thats Water type but NOT an aquatic animal work/look like?"
Rotom-B: bugzapper

>Kills bugs
>Is bug typed
Then again, thats exactly what Rotom Mow is.I still like that idea of a Bug Rotom being a Computer laden with viruses
