I got a Japanese Modest Chinchou in a Moon Ball through a wondertrade once. So I just bred my own and use Lanturn primarily in Doubles. Great Pokemon.

It wasn't, it was automatically written when the Pokemon was scanned. And even if it was written by the protagonist, said protagonist would have to test those theories, and one would question the morality of someone who, for example, would attempt to kill a Golem using dynamite.

I agree with all those points. So yours is specially defensive and I like the Heal Bell choice.
Initially, I was indecisive for choosing a suitable nickname. Ideas like Blue Lagoon and Blue Bayou came to mind. Then Anuenue popped into my head (still keeping the "eu"). When you google it you'll run into aNueNue Ukelele's.. however, I remembered there was a continent/nation in the video game Baten Kaitos called Anuenue. I got the inspiration from said game.

I really like the name actually I ran it through translate and it means rainbow in Hawaiian apparently - I never played that game so I dont know if the name makes sense in that context haha

I love running Soak. It removes STABs and can mess up poison Pokes with Toxic Orb for example. Lanturn has saved my ass many a times. Trick Room Telepathy Musharna with Energy Ball is a great partner.

Lanturn's my second most favorite Pokemon. It's one of those NU/PU shitmons that can somewhat work in higher environments too thanks to the bulk, typing and movepool. Volt Absorb just makes it a hard counter to most Electric types like Mega Manectric

Makes perfect sense then haha that sounds like a pretty neat set up to be fair I hate breeding for low speed IVs so tend to prefer thunder wave for speed control!
I have a discharge/earthquake core using Eelektross and Garchomp and Lanturn is there as a switch in to spread status around - it recovers a third of its HP from discharge and leftovers!
Happy to see some love for good old fish-bulb!

If definitely helps it stick around for a while! Give Eelektross a try its surprisingly hardy with no super effective weaknesses and its slow so will work well in trick room! Have been looking at Soak like you recommended as I didnt consider the loss of STAB when I was looking at it previously - time to experiment a little I think haha
