Nowadays the dubbed pokémon cries are bland as fuck, there's no more the different quirks that can make they memorable.
In the original japanese audio they still are good, though.
In general I don't mind the voiced cries, but Sceptile's in-game roar is this bassy masterpiece and it's always a little disappointing the voice actors go with a more generic high-pitched hissy snake voice.

It's just the truth, is a well known fact that the dub is kinda trash nowadays, they remove many great background music for generic shit, the voices sounds mechanical and off.
At least the original voices has some real effort put into.
