Well, looking at it's in game effects, it doesn't cause burn, so it can't be that hot, and it doesn't cause poison or stat drops, so radiationfags btfo'd.
It's a normal type move that deals a shit ton of damage, and pushed a guy back one time, so it's probably a beam of concussive force (kind of like Cyclop's eye beams, if you read capeshit). So I guess the closest equivalent to it would be like getting hit by one of those high pressure water cannons that police use to disperse mobs, except with more force, and it's not wet.
