I did once. When I was in Kindergarten, a girl left a really beat-up Squirtle figurine on the bus. Someone picked it up and asked me if I owned it. I couldn't hear what he was saying, and being a little kid, nodded yes. He handed it to me, and the figure was my favourite toy for many years to come. As a kid, I imagined he was a treasure hunter and explored the Pokemon world without a trainer, kind of like Mystery Dungeon which would come along later. Wish I could figure out what happened to that toy.
