Am i the only one kinda bored by GF always just slapping Sugi's artworks for the legendaries onto the cover and call it a day? I mean, sure they can do more than that...

probably works better for marketing, they want kids to see plainly which game has the super cool legend that they want.
definitely agree that I'd like to see something more, like some characters from the main story, or some scenery from the gen, but it'd probably end up looking like a movie poster
Well at least it looks nice, besides the disgusting Pokemon logo. The Japanese got it better than us.
It makes it clear which version it is.

well i wouldn't get rid off the legends but make a separate artwork like in >>24938009 and >>24938013 case, but mostly add some more stuff in the background like the protagonits, the villains or something like that
