How excited would you be if GF decided to implement a Husband/Wife feature?
Think of it like Harvest Moon. You select the mate you wish to copulate with, and your son grows up over the course of the game and eventually you can battle him or defend your championship against him or something like that.
Half of you get wet over the thought of boning Pokegirls, half of you think there's no point in GF introducing romance in this way if it has no use. Perhaps this is an acceptable compromise?
