I understand why there's no trainer cusomisation, because they want you to play as the main characters from RSE.
Also, 3D throughout the entire game would tank even a New 3DS and I don't think it's even needed as the lack of 3D makes the caves and battles stand out even more.

1. Title
It's choosing to be alpha or omega. in this meme culture only the former has positive connotation.
2. Kyogre. All anyone was really familiar with up untll ORAS in this reguard was that Kyogre was vastly superior to Kyorge, this was a trend most people thought would continue into this game...oh ho wrong that thought was.
3. Pirates.
Aqua got the superior redeigns here. Visually, it's just more satisfying to face them. Storywise, it makes more sense that you would be fighting them. AS looks like the "canon" game.
