The first game of a generation never has postgame, this has been consistent since the beginning.
The better question to ask is why doesn't ORAS have postgame, but we know that answer as well, it's because Game Freak rushed the game out in a year and Ohmori thought it would be more important to jerk off his OC in the Delta Episode than make any Frontier facilities.

It's the same post game as about every Pokemon game outside of GSC. You battle the E4 over and over until you get bored and try catching as many Pokes as you can.
