In PU, it's not a bad for setting up peebles. It also can spread status via thunder wave and has a slow volt switch. It's worth a shot.

It's an inferior type, defensive, offensive wise Magnezone and Magneton.
However it can rely on Taunt, which can outspeed both Ferrothorn and Skarmory and prevent any hazard or attempt tp phaze ot out. Try HP Fire, Taunt, Thunderbolt or Discharge and a filler between Power Gem and Earthpower or Stealth Rocks. Charge Beam is okay too if ot can learn it. Make it Timid max Speed.
Seriously, it's very mediocre if not plai terrible, but better than Bastiodon.

It's a remover, don't be silly.
It won't do any shit beside removing Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Forretress without Earthquake or Volt Switch and weakened Scizor or Heatran. If you are planning yo make it defensive you are being wrong just for thinking about it, Probobass type is trash defensively and Pain Split is also useless. And the Timid nature does outspeed eventual slow Heatran and Scizor.

Not all defensive Heatran run Speed, not all of them run enough Speed to be faster than Bisharp or Scizor when the latter also plays the EVs game to outspeed Heatran. Taunt and Balloon Heatran usully runs Speed, the defensive barely do so, don't lie.
