I remember having trouble in Silph Co and the Safari Zone in RBY but this was me being a dumbass 7 year old without access to Google.
Otherwise when I replay Pokemon games the hardest part of all of them is having the willpower to get through them to the end because the best parts of Pokemon are always at the beginning but by around the 4th or 5th gym it gets really lulling until the end of victory road.

The joke is that on the north part has fog and many trainer surprise you if you didn't use Defog. Also on the Fog the accuracy is lowered from both sides.

I remember when I played pokemon Red I would always get bored at the exact same point: Post Sylph Co., pre Fuschia Gym when my team is around 40 or so. I always look at it and go "Eh, I wonder what it would have been like if I chose bulbasaur instead of charmander" or "Maybe I should have gotten a pikachu in Viridian Forest" and then I would restart.
Happened about 4 times in a row before I pushed myself to do Fuschia and Cinnabar, then Victory Road picks up the fun level again.

I found out that you can manage to go through all the rooms in one cycle if you always take the other warp pad on the side you came into the room. From there onward it's just simple trial and error.

This route and the connected to it ones are one of the best Sinnoh routes with maybe the Platinum post game area, comfy rematches and nature, reminds me of the routes nerby Fortree City.
If Sinnoh had the Ace Trainer couple with Raichu and Gyarados then Hoenn had that annoying Milotic Ace Trainer.

The Platinum Battle Factory is even more of a pain in the ass.
They give you 75% of good mons in the first 3 streaks and then retarded sets and 10% legendaries from the 4th.
Also retarded speed stats and shit like Calm Latios with 248 Speed or physical Raikou. If you get good monds well fuck you, you will only face flinch hax and Quick Claw users. I'm still trying to break the 40 record and getva Gold Print but last time a Quick Claw Donphan rekt my Raikou and Flygon with Seed Bomb.

The Lilycove battle gave me shit because I was too dumb to go to another town to try to get items and my Swampert couldn't OHKO her Swellow, then it would use Endeavor and fuck me over.

Thanks to the only member of my team to not be utterly underleveled being a Swampert with a moveset of Surf/Dive/Strength/Rock Smash, this one Pokémon took forever for me to beat. I ended up getting down to only having PP left for Rest, and thanks to having used all its Double Teams, it was goddamn impossible to hit. My jaw dropped when my friend told me it was easy and that his Swampert just used Earthquake.
