I think mewtwo is cool. Unlike most other legendaries he has a personality and it feels like there is only one mewtwo canonically even if everyone has one. He is pretty powerful in the game as he is in the story which makes is a nice touch.

I think he should be harder to catch though. Imagine if he had teleport along with his other moves. It would be a pain but come on it's mewtwo.

I think it's weird how so many people fantasize about him but it was created by japs so it not too surprising.

Within my group of friends, it was always considered an accomplishment to catch mewtwo in frlg without the master ball.

Mewtwo was a huge pain in the ass to catch in fire red. I was never able to get him with anything less than an ultra ball. All other legendary pokemon in the general 3 game could be caught with a basic poke ball. Whereas Mewtwo would 1 hp and paralyzed and struggle itself into fainting.
Pissed me off as a kid.
