As always, Evolution isn't an automatic thing. You need to physically force it through whatever postgame setup they have for it now.I haven't gotten to the point where mons can evolve but I can say that stones are more or less completely gone and any mon that required outside help to evolve can do so immediately once they have access to the evolution area, barring a few exceptions that simply will not evolve ever.
